2019 edition of CLINMED Summer School, july 2-12 2019

The Summer School “Integrating Clinical Knowledge in the Development of New Medical Devices, from Idea to Post-Market Follow-Up” extends to Tours. Clin Med 2019, A NEW EUROPEAN SUMMER SCHOOL, supported by the national network of CIC-IT (Clinical Investigation Centers dedicated to Technological Innovations) will be in Tours! The second edition of Clin Med 2019 European Summer School will take place from 2 to 12 July 2019. This Summer School is labeled by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Health). The event will take place in two steps: an immersive phase in various hospital sites or living labs, including the University Hospital of Tours, followed by a week of courses and project development workshops in Autrans (Vercors, Isère). LabEx IRON: renewed labeling for 5 years (2020 – 2024)

In the framework of « Investissements d’avenir » program (PIA), the Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has decided to prolong for another five years 103 LabEx (Laboratory of Excellence) following the« mid-course » evaluation by an international jury. Following a positive evaluation based on its scientific results and the impact of its activities on the structuring of its 12 teams in a national network, the laboratory of Excellence Innovative Radiopharmaceuticals in Oncology and Neurology (LabEx IRON) has been extended to 5 years (2020-2024). INMiND training courses: PET and SPECT radiopharmaceuticals development, November 2-5, 2015, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

INMiND offers research and training activities related to neuroinflammation, neuro-degeneration/-regeneration and imaging with special emphasis on translating basic mechanisms into clinical applications. Medical Imaging of the Future: Consequences for Patient and Professional, September 14-15, 2015, Groningen, The Netherlands

The Medical Imaging Center of the University Medical Center Groningen, will organize in Groningen, September 14th and 15th 2015 an international symposium entitled: ‘Medical lmaging of the Future: Consequences for Patient and Professional’. Medical lmaging is rapidly changing and will continue to do so for the forthcoming years with consequent major implications in teaching and training. Hence, during the symposium we will address medical imaging from different perspectives: new camera technologies, new computer technologies, new imaging probes and new learning models. Moreover, in Medical lmaging in Europe the Netherlands is taking the lead in the development of a new program combining both the training in radiology and in Nuclear Medicine. This program is to be effectuated in 2015. The international symposium will thus detail these trends from all the different aforementioned perspectives. Therefore, the symposium provides a unique platform for all involved in technology development and in medical teaching and training to be updated on the latestdevelopments, to envision the future, to account for the implications from different angles ofview and to develop an opinion through the expert lectures and discussion with peers. This symposium precedes an inaugural lecture at the end of the last day of this 2 day symposium, of a new professor at the Medical lmaging Center UMCG, Prof. dr.
